Code of Conduct

In continuing efforts to promote and grow the game of Rugby Union in the North Fulton County area, the state of Georgia, and beyond. By joining the Club each member of the Exiles Rugby Football Club, regardless of membership type or level, agrees to promote a positive environment for every member of the Club by abiding by the following Code of Conduct.

• Whether as a player, coach, social member, spectator, or volunteer, each member is expected to uphold the Exiles RFC core values of teamwork, respect, camaraderie, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Treat others with respect and dignity, including match officials, spectators, coaches and players, whether they are from the Club or the opposition.
• Never attempt to bully, intimidate, or alienate another member.
• Adhere to the "one voice" tradition on the pitch.
• Exhibit on-field grace and class in both victory and defeat.
• Offer positive and constructive feedback and avoid negative criticism on and off the pitch. Online and offline.
• Represent the Club and rugby through positive actions when both in and out of the public eye. Hold oneself to a higher standard when wearing Club colors. Demand the same of your clubmates and teammates.
• Respect and adhere to Club structure, bylaws, and policies.

Actions contrary to the Club Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary board intervention. Violations can result in:

• Temporary or permanent ineligibility for match selection
• Temporary to permanent suspension of Club privileges
• Depending on the severity possible revocation of Club membership
